Hi loves!
One of my favorite things about being an author is getting to share this journey with you, not just when a book is polished and pretty, but while it’s still in the messy, exciting becoming stage. So today I thought I’d give you a quick peek at what I’ve been working on lately.
Chelsea (Beta Reading Soon!)
First up is my spicy, age-gap romance Chelsea. This book has been such a joy to write — a blend of heart, heat, and a heroine who’s discovering her own strength. I’ll soon be inviting a small group of beta readers to dive into the early draft. These brave souls will help me polish the story before it’s ready for its big debut. (If you’re one of them, thank you in advance — your feedback means the world to me!)
My Very First Full Length Novel
Luna’s story is resting right now (I do a six week incubation period ala Stephen King after I finish a first draft), but edits will begin soon! This will be the biggest piece I’ve ever edited, so wish me luck! I can’t wait to share her with the world through this story that takes her from sweet high schooler to a tough and resilient badass, shaped by the trials of life-altering events and a deep personal journey, to carry a quiet strength and hard-earned wisdom. Love, family, and friendships will be lost and found along the way, along with plenty of surprises and twists.
A New Romantasy
And because I can’t resist dropping a little tease… I’ve also been working on a romantasy series project that I’m beyond excited about. It’s the story of twin princesses whose lives — and loves — twist together in ways that are magical, dangerous, and oh-so romantic. (wink, wink 😉) This one is still in the early stages, but I promise you, it’s going to be something truly special.
More Stories in the Works
Of course, Chelsea, Luna, and twin princesses aren’t the only projects simmering away. I’ve got several stories in the pipeline — some romantic, some fantastical, and some that walk the delicious line between the two. A few are still in the early stages, with characters who keep whispering their secrets to me at 2 a.m. Others are already spilling across the page faster than I can type.
